Joe Hobbs, LPCC

Belmar Location

My name is Joe Hobbs, and I truly believe effective therapy can change lives. As a counselor, I can accurately reflect your feelings and experiences leading to more meaningful understandings, challenge you to find emotional patterns/beliefs that need to be edited, deleted, or reorganized, and most importantly foster a relationship that makes it all possible.

Whether you have prior experience with therapy or not, the first step can often be the most difficult. Do it anyway! In a world where you can be anything, start with being and feeling your best. Contact me to get started, and we can get to work on helping to create the life you want to live.

Our brains are the center of our individual universes, the control for all cognitive, emotional, and physical experience. It is always adapting; assessing then shaping and reshaping our worlds. It is equally nimble and fragile, while having the potential to unlock unlimited human potential or create unbearable realities filled with shame, fear, and anger. When these processes are off, we are off. We feel stuck, anxious, and closed off. Through therapy we are able to evaluate these patterns, perspectives, and behaviors, and ultimately work towards and solidify a life worth living.
