I believe therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and begin to understand the experiences that shape who we are and how we relate to others. My work is grounded in relational and psychodynamic therapy, where we explore how past experiences, attachment patterns, and internal narratives influence how we move through the present.
I integrate trauma-informed and parts-oriented approaches to help clients develop greater self-understanding and emotional resilience. I enjoy working with individuals navigating trauma, identity development, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My style is collaborative and reflective, and I work alongside clients to uncover patterns that may be keeping them stuck while creating space for healing, clarity, and growth.
In addition to my clinical work, I am a post-residency PhD student (all but dissertation) at Smith College School for Social Work and serve as an adjunct and visiting professor, where I teach future social workers about relational and trauma-informed practice. My research explores trauma narratives and the therapeutic relationship, focusing on how therapists and clients make meaning of pain and healing together.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy knitting, teaching, writing, tending to plants and flowers, and spending time with family, friends, and community.
