Life can feel overwhelming at times—whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, family conflict, workplace stress, burnout, life transitions, grief, or simply feeling stuck. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with experience working with young adults, adults, and families across a wide range of life challenges and transitions. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, systems-based approaches, psychoeducation, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is a primary area of focus in my practice.
EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences, distressing life events, anxiety, and negative beliefs that may be impacting their daily lives. Whether your trauma stems from childhood experiences, workplace challenges, family conflict, a single traumatic event, or years of accumulated stress, EMDR can help reduce emotional distress and support lasting healing.
In addition to my clinical work, I have an extensive background in child and family systems, crisis response, trauma-informed care, leadership, and community behavioral health. I currently work within child and family protection services, supporting children, families, and caregivers through complex situations involving safety concerns, family conflict, and system involvement. This experience provides me with a unique understanding of trauma, resilience, family dynamics, workplace stress, and the challenges people face when navigating high-pressure careers, significant life transitions, court involvement, or child welfare systems.
I have a special interest in supporting helping professionals, caregivers, educators, healthcare workers, first responders, and others working in high-stress environments who may be experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, workplace-related stress, or career challenges.
I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical. Together, we will identify your strengths, explore barriers to growth, and develop tools that help you move toward the life you want to create. Whether you are healing from trauma, navigating a career change, managing anxiety, or seeking greater balance in your life, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered.
Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling, hiking, exploring new places, and spending time with my blended family. As the parent of three young adult children, I understand firsthand the joys and challenges that come with family relationships, parenting through transitions, and balancing life’s many responsibilities. I also enjoy spending time with my two golden retrievers, Maui and Kona.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing, growth, and greater fulfillment.
